GuidePace goes live on the App Store!

GuidePace debut during the AMGA (American Mountain Guide Association) Ski Guide Course in the Salt Lake City area:

Tour planning is a critical part of back-country ski guiding, but it can definitely feel onerous at times, especially when you're worn out from nine days of training.  I was psyched that GuidePace came out just in time for me and the other guides on this course to put it to some real use!

The response from the group was great - everyone with an iPhone downloaded it and used it almost daily for developing tour plans.  In this case, we were using the Munter System mode for skiing.  Folks liked that it saved time and mental energy, as well as freeing up some room in our guide notebooks.

A big thanks to the instructors Amos, Peter and Keith, and all the other students for making it a great experience!

Does this work on the Android Platform? I have a full guide staff that might be interested. Please send me an email at jason@alpineinstitute.com.

    Thanks,

  3. One more for Android!
Hope this succeeds. In the future consider integrating with GaiaGPS.
